Don’s been playing poker for a long time—long enough to know that luck runs out, but solid strategy doesn’t. He started in college games that went way too late and for stakes that were way too high. Since then, he’s played just about everywhere: online, live, low-stakes, high-stakes, casinos, basements, and everything in between.

He’s not a big talker at the table, but he pays attention. Reads people better than he reads cards, and he’s not bad at reading cards. He’s had some big wins, some bad beats, and enough strange hands to fill a book (maybe someday).

These days, Don spends more time teaching, writing, and sharing what he’s learned—mostly so people stop making the same mistakes he sees over and over again. He believes poker’s a game of decisions, not luck, and he’s here to help people make better ones.

He doesn’t claim to know everything, but he’s spent enough time in the game to know what works, what doesn’t, and how to keep your bankroll from disappearing by Friday.
